Cystoscopy is a procedure that allows your doctor to examine the lining of your bladder and the tube that carries urine out of your body (urethra). A hollow tube (cystoscope) equipped with a lens is inserted into your urethra and slowly advanced into your bladder.

Ureteroscopy (URS) is a form of minimally invasive surgery using a small telescope that is passed through the urethra and into the ureter to remove a stone. Often the stone requires fragmentation with a laser which then allows the smaller fragments to remove with a grasping device.

Gastroscopy is an examination of the upper digestive tract (the oesophagus, stomach, and duodenum) using an endoscope — a long, thin, flexible tube containing a camera and a light — to view the lining of these organs.
